Introducing the concept of zombies to India, Go Goa Gone opened to a strikingly dropped 1st weekend business in the global markets. Though the idea is new to Indian films, most international films have dissected the concept brilliantly in both horror films and humor as well. The film's overall weekend business was approximately a measly amount of 3.56 crores.

The film's in its opening weekend in U.K raked up an earning of 39.68 lacs. The film itself is closely borrowed from Hollywood film Zombieland which was popular is U.S.A for a long time. The film managed an earning of93.11 lacs from the U.S.A circuit.

With a high expat population, the film released in U.A.E too and managed a marginally better income of 1.27 crores there.

In Australia, the film earned an approximate of 18.45 lacs and performed rather shabbily. The film met with worse fate in Fiji where the film could barely manage 3.65 lacs in its opening weekend.

Go Goa Gone was obviously a film strictly meant for desi Bollywood loyalists, for whom the concepts of Zombies is both fresh and hilarious. However, the setback in the overseas market was expected by its producers. The film will balance its profit margins, if it manages a good income at the Indian multiplexes
