Monday 13th May 2013 11.00 IST

Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network

Go Goa Gone could not find much appreciation as it collected around 12-12.25 crore nett. The trend was also not good for the film as there was limited growth on Saturday and Sunday.

Business in Mumbai city, Delhi city, Pune and Bangalore was better but not big enough to make much of a difference. The approx breakdown for the weekend is as follows.

Friday - 3.55 crore

Saturday - 4.10 crore

Sunday - 4.50 crore

TOTAL - 12.15 crore

The budget is 16, so it should be able to sail through.

Go Goa Gone: Opening Weekend Box Office Collections

Branded as India's First Zom-Com, Illuminati Films' Go Goa Gone is a crackling feat in its first half and a limp sore in the second. However, the film was well received by the audience and critics and managed to perform well at the multiplexes.

The film by the wrap up of its first two days earned a total of 8.05 crores at the domestic box office. As per early estimates, on Sunday, the film made a business of about 5.25 Crores at the Box Office, taking its opening weekend domestic total to 13.30 Crores at the Box Office.

Anand Tiwari, Puja Gupta, Kunal Khemu And Vir Das in Go Goa Gone Movie Stills

The multiplex audiences this week are divided between three films, the other two being Gippi and Star Trek. The Star Trek series is an obvious choice for many. Gippi too is giving Goa Goa Gone a little competition because of its teenage flavor that will appeal the target audience because of the ongoing summer vacations!

Monday collections will be fateful for the film as it decides whether the venture diversifies towards success or not.

GGG is a laugh-riot. I was hooked right from the opening sequence, which I thought was brilliant! It does get a little repititive towards the end, but still it was paisa-wasool for me! I loved all the actors, specially KK and AT, and the chemistry between the three friends. I didn't quite enjoy the gore, but guess, they wanted to push the envelope.

EDIT: The music is as whacked out as the film. Love Khooni Monday and Babaji ki Booti!

Only 12 crores...Looks like zombies are not the BW audience's cup of tea ...Why can't the people appreciate something new instead of going for the regular masala movies??
