The makers of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (YPD 2) had decided to make the music launch of the film a grand affair. But no one guessed it would turn out to be this big. Check out the guest list drawn up by the Deol brothers for the launch – Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hritik Roshan, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Rakesh Roshan, Kunal Kohli, Subhash Ghai and Juhi Chawla, who made the occasion extra-special. Why, even the stage was not big enough to accommodate these stars and, with such a galaxy in their presence, the media went nuts.
The event started with composer Sharib and Toshi singing songs from the YPD 2 album. They were joined by lyricist Kumaar and singer Sunidhi Chauhan. Later, they were joined by all the celebrities present at the launch along with the cast and crew of the film, who danced to the tunes of Main aida hi nachna, with Dharmendra himself.
Said an excited Dharmendra, "I have always wanted to say this and today everyone is there including the media. I want to say that I am the No.1 dancer. My son Sunny has planned a special song for me, Main aida hi nachna." The actor also thanked his friends present at the event, "I am so happy for the love and respect they give me. I am what I am today because of their love. I wish them all the best and a long life. They should have good films and lots of successful films."
Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, features Dharmendra, Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol, Neha Sharma and Kristina Akheeva in leading roles. The film is set to hit cinemas on June 7.
