again its about your own confidence- you can even be the prettiest woman on planet and be insecure about your looks, its all about who you are and how much weight you give to others crap and your own self!

konkona was not that confident when she debuted either. She debuted with two bengali movies before Mr and Mrs iyer happened.

She and nandita das never sought maintsream recognition the way Anusha did. and she comes from modellig background which usually have pretty people and then she hears she is not so good looking all the time.

tabbu also is a conventional pretty woman.

Everyone has different measure of being successful and beautiful and their own insecurities.

We can criticize and discuss them but time and again we need to cut them some slack as well.
