Who's to say marriage of a straight woman to a gay man is a "sacrifice"? Perhaps, they gain different but equally important things out of it. In fact, it is much better than supposedly "straight" marriages where infidelity is rampant. At least, you know what you're getting into. I would hardly call an open marriage where both the partners are free to do what they want with who they want albeit with discretion an act of sacrifice.
