Experts give clean chit, confirm Mona Singh MMS was morphed

Mumbai: The cyber crime cell of the Mumbai police investigating a MMS clip allegedly featuring television actress have revealed that the video was morphed.
Investigators said that the digital experts confirmed that the actress' face was morphed in the MMS, that went viral last week. They added that cyber forensic experts at the Cyber Lab concluded that the video shot seemed to have been superimposed. The news has come as a major relief for the actoress, who, many claim will feature in Bigg Boss to cash in on the sympathy wave.
Even after the scandal broke out, Mona put up a brave front with the support of her family and friends. The actress lodged the complaint on March 28 after someone uploaded a MMS featuring her nude. The police have blocked the portal on which the allegedly morphed MMS clip was played.
A senior officer said, "They are finding out the link and the person who uploaded the MMS." Sources say the MMS was uploaded from some place in Delhi. The officer said that they are finding out the place and the person who did it. "We have found two such clips. But it is five to six years old," the officer said.
Mona Singh said the police had recorded her statement. "We are now working towards pulling out the online videos. We have written to various portals. There are at least 30 more sites that have to block the video," she said.
Cops have registered a case against the unidentified person.
