Indian judicial system is a friggin joke. This postponing shyte is ridiculous. Just start the damn trial already and put the man out of his misery. He has put his life on hold for about 15 years now due to both cases. If they had started the trial 10 yrs ago, he'd have been able to move on with his life by now. But instead, they insist on slowing the process. 😡

Its also interesting how the govt is hell bent on putting stars in jail so they can win the respect of the janata. They'll put actors in jail, enjoy their glory and go back to ignoring rapists and murderers out there. Because the janata will be too happy to notice their ignorance, laziness and corruption. No one is interested in justice for that Delhi girl anymore. People are interested in Sanjay and Salman being sent to jail. The govt is playing their cards right.

Sanjay has been convicted, so he should do his time. In Salman's case, the evidence hasn't even been shown, trial hasn't even started and yet, people have already convicted him of murder and calling for jail time. I mean what the...? He deserves a fair trial just like any citizen. Let the prosecution prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he did kill 1 person and then call for jail time. Its ridiculous to brand him a murderer when he is yet to be convicted. 😡

^^^You got any evidence to back up your entire statement? I think not. Show me the evidence he is delaying it and we'll talk. Indian judiciary system is known to delay their trials for yrs and yrs. Remember Sunny's dialogue? Tarikh pe tarikh? It happens in all the cases but you won't complain and say those accused are delaying it. But when it happens to Sal's case, its him who is delaying it. I don't think he likes living his life with those cases hanging over his head. He wants to have kids but he's waiting till the cases are resolved. I am sure he'd love it if they started the trial tomorrow. He's said he wants that chapter to be over. But of course, you will believe what you want to.

The govt IS trying to put them in jail to look good. Has anyone brought up rapes and murders since Sanjay's verdict and Salman's case? Nope. He is a citizen and therefore he deserves a fair trial. Whether you agree with it or not.

^^If he isn't required to show up or if he is out of town due to work commitments and asks to be excused, its his fault? Court could have rejected his request. Did it? NO. So there you go. If you must blame someone, blame the courts for approving. He was told to appear on Monday, he returned on Sat night. Didn't he?

As for fair trial, I may have missed where you said he deserved one. Forgive me for that but its hard to believe it when most folks on this forum have been calling him a murderer for many years. 😆 I doubt people want him to get a fair trial or want to see the evidence. They have decided he's murderer already. So he should go to jail. 😲

^He isn't required to show up for his own hearing- did I miss something? And did he not know when the court hearing was? He could have left that date out specifically and not made any commitments but he didn't. Wasn't he supposed to appear in the court on Friday too? And yup he returned and look what happened- the lawyer forgot to file a document. If you believe this document excuse then good for you but I can't, this is hilariously lame to me.
