Saif was good but this is not the kind of thing that should win awards. Govinda has given much better comedy performances than Saif. Akshay has been giving good comedy performances for years. Have you seen some of Amitabh Bachchan's comic performances? Saif didn't do anything special in that regard. The reason he even got so much attention was because he was SO BAD before Hum Tum. It was a rebirth for him. Any other actor doing it would have not gotten much notice because they didn't have the horrible phase Saif had before it. It was just shocking for people that Saif could actually act.
Not only too bad...but also HT was the first movie...where Saif proved that he was capable of carrying a movie on his own shoulders...before that all his HIT movies were multistarrers...that was the main reason for HT being so hyped...
