Yes the concept of the movie was realistic...extramarital affairs are very common...but for me the ending killed the movie...When our movies show a prevelant social problem...they should also come up with an answer for that problem...You just do not reward the wrongdoings of people in a widely watched media like a movie...The movie would have been fine for me if at the end SRK and Rani were shown rotting somewhere in Alaska and not shown being together in the end...showing the wrongs that happen in our society is good...rewarding them in the end is VERY BAD...Appreciating a movie like KANK for me is like applauding Sri-Boney for what they did to Mona...This movie was wrong in so many ways...except for the characters of Abhishek and Preity...every other character was straight out from hell...

KANK was bad because the execution was bad!

I personally liked the ending but i knew over all it would be trashed as most of us like to live in la la land that who does wrong does not succeed in life- seriously when does that ever happen? we have so many cases where extra marital affairs have happened and despite being at mistake people have lived their lives! so why not show the same in movies when we demand so much of reality from cinema- why cover it up with a fairy tale showing how bad get punished etc!

and looking at the positive abjr and preity got a better deal at the end- rani and srk were more like partners in misery!

anyhow cinema should not only be for morals- its okay to show what actually happen in our society and that is the truth-such cases like rani and srk do happen
