Thats Kajol for us. Always to the point, so nothing new to see so frank answers. And moreovr she was putting dfrnce b/w men and women superheroes and why former work more. She basically voiced the general reasons, such movies and male superhero excites many other womenin same way no matter of what age thy r. I don't see anything wrong there 🤔

Great interview. I love Kajol..I think she's one of the best actresses to come out of bollywood, but more than that I like how till this day she isn't as bothered about what people think of her and she's not out to prove anything at this stage. Sure, she has lost weight and is trying to dress slightly differently..but there's no harm in losing weight to at least look healthy. Also, she looks the best out of all the actresses in their 30s..and I feel that has so much do with her indifferent attitude towards the world..otherwise she too couldve ended up like.. say, Priety Zinta.

MNIK at least had them in mature roles. It would have been totally idiotic to see them go back to college setting a la KKHH in a way after 10 years in 3 Idiots. Mandira was a mother, Pia was a 20 something year old. Rizwan was old too. I meant it suited their ages better.

MNIK was mostly about SRK yes, and Karan edited out a lot of scenes w/ SRK-Kajol for the story. It wasn't the best comeback for the couple or Kajol, but I think it was a better choice than 3 Idiots for the reason I mentioned above. Not saying MNIK is a better movie or anything like that though. Of course the best comeback would be a mature love story a la Cheeni Kum types...or a more mature version of Saathiya/ Chalte Chalte types.
