I knew about Kajol rejecting role in 3I but SRK too :O. Why it didn't matter out with him? He rejectd?

Main question not asked: Does she still read Mills and Boons?

I feel kinda sad reading her talking about her love for her husband. Does she still think the world is unaware of her husband's roving eye? Like the interview though.But can't imagine her as Rancho or Ranchi in 3I.😆

Yeah, he supposedly had date problems and I think some issues with the script. The script of 3 Idiots was at first different from what we eventually saw..at first, it was a scene by scene copy of Five Point Someone but then Hirani rewrote a lot of it and approached Aamir instead.

So, CB's accusations were right but Hirani rewrote it. Aamir was fab in role and cannot really see anyone else doing it but a char like Rancho for SRK, wld hv been treat to watch in midst of othr crapfests.

CB was kinda stupid when he signed the contract and didn't read the fine print but Chopra & company were no saints either.

I can't imagine Kajol and SRK in 3 Idiots either. It's not the kind of film, the kind of roles, that would have suited such a legendary couple, returning together onscreen after almost 10 years honestly. 3 Idiots would have been a nice film for SRK, but its okay. There's no use crying over spilt milk.. Aamir did a good job in the film 👍🏼

Now that is Kajol for us. I loved what she said about newcomers. B/w is it just me or actually she didn't appear much excited talking about MNIK? Was she upset of movie?

I cannot see SRK in 3 Idiots either maybe coz Aamir did a very decent job. But Kajol?? Was Mandira character better than Pia?She should hv taken Pia over Mandira? 3I wld nt hv justified their return but did MNIK do? Wasn't Kajol really wasted in the movie? And we did not have much of their in the movie which was termed their comeback movie together

Apparently Sridevi made a similar demand when she was offered Darr, that she'd do it only if she could play the psycho. That would have been interesting. And it would have been interesting if one of the 'idiots' was a girl. Perhaps Madhavan's role?

they should rewrite the some portions of the movie, the ragging scene, jahanpana tussi great ho😆 and alli izz well song

What are your views on today's female actors?

Frankly there are too many of them and I don't remember half of them. Every movie launches a new face. They are all made to talk and dress alike, with size zero figures and (have) a particular kind of behaviour so as to blend with the rest.

Maybe it's safer to blend in today. But it takes about 15 to 20 films to get into an identity and develop a personality onscreen. And I feel these girls are not given time to develop themselves as strong individuals. They are thrown up, touted as the next big thing and before they know what's happening to them, they are pulled down and someone else is pushed up. This sudden rise and fall is frightening for the growth of a newcomer.

Can you explain?

Let me ask you this: in the last five years, has anyone survived this onslaught? You have to be willing to take risks to be different, to be unusual and fantastic.

The sad part is that these girls don't seem to want individuality anymore. That's why I feel there are no stars anymore today, because filmmakers don't let them become stars. They are killing every aspect of their creativity and individuality.

Who do you think can be the next Kajol?

Nobody needs to be anybody. They all have potential. But I don't watch that many movies so it's unfair to say anything. From whatever little I saw of Ishaqzaade (2012), I liked Parineeti Chopra. She's good from among the fresher lot. Let's wait and see who lasts.
