kay saw it...

it was pretty good...a tad slow paced which i didnt like, but good nevertheless...this might actually be the first time where i liked the film better than the book..

when i read the book, i hated it...it didnt seem to have a point, or a coherent plot or a proper resolution...i didnt enjoy reading it at all...except for Ish and ali (tht lil kid), none of the other characters were properly etched out so i couldnt care enough for them...

the movie on the other hand seemed to tie things together in a better way...and made more "sense"...

loved the performances...sushant is amazing and he was my fav in the movie..i never saw him act b4 so i didnt know he was so good...very confident, gr8 screen presence, gr8 energy and very natural...he has it in him to be a star...amit was gr8 too...and the other guy was fine...

overall...better than the book IMO...3.5/5

KAI PO CHE Finishes Huge Weekend

"Kai Po Che" started on positive note on Friday and collections jumped on Saturday by 40%. That was due to great reviews and exceptional word of mouth though that happened in selected pockets as expected.

Film collected 6.25 cr nett on Saturday and today film grew further. As per early estimates, film should collect 7.25 cr nett taking film's first weekend collections to 18 cr nett plus. That is a huge figure for a non starrer film.

Film also collected good numbers overseas which is really special for such a film and film should finish with 8-10 cr overseas collections. Film should trend well on weekdays and first week should be in the range of 25 cr nett at domestic box office.

Contrary to the common belief that roping in popular actors for a film with a simple script is the sure shot way to stir up a storm at the box office, filmmakers are interested in giving prominent roles to those who aren't Bollywood A-list actors.

Even though Abhishek Kapoor's 'Kai Po Che' doesn't have the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, it has become a hit with movie buffs.

But which actor – Sushant Singh, Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh - has the makings of a superstar? We spoke to a few movie buffs to understand which actor – despite equal length of role – has managed to grab maximum eyeballs.

Sushant Singh Rajput lives up to viewers' expectations

i am glad it's doing well at BO now here's a film which deserves tobe in the so called 100 cr club where most of the shitty films end up this one truly deserves it

ok just watched the movie

and can i saw it was totally amazing👏
abhishek is amazing as a director

even though it wasnt a masala entertainer it totally rocked

sushant singh rajput ⭐️ hes a star and hes here to stay
raj kumar yadav was also brilliant and amit was ok maybe i didnt like his character thats why

the ending was heartwrenching

i hope this movie does well it really deserves too

annd now im a total sushant pankha!😆 i hope his next with pari wont take long to release
