I had to start a Different Topic bcz other Topic is Strictly about " KHANS "

Akshay has been in the industry for more than 20 years , he did every kind of movie ... Action , Romantic , comedy , drama , serious

But he never got any National Award

Karishma Kapoor won for Dil to Pagal hai as a Supporting actress but Akshay was also in that movie as a Supporting Actor but he didn't win ... thats not fair

He Deserved the National Award for Sangarsh , Tasveer , Jaanwar but he did not get

and Now I Hope he gets one for OMG and special 26

I love Akshay...He is an allrounder when it comes to Indian cinema...He can do romance, action, comedy , masala...with the same ease...I hope one day Akshay does win a national award...Good luck Akki..👍🏼

agree and I am really hopeful for OMG ( supporting actor and Producer ) and Special 26

and I want Akki or any 3 khan to win when they Deserve not like Saif 😆 ... No one values his National award 😆

He does deserve one...look at his filmograph and u'll realise wat variety of work he has done...He has attempted almost all d genre and succeeded also..

He and Ajay acc to me are d most versatile actors...Its high time his work gets recognised in d field of awards..would luv to see him get a national award...👍🏼

Was following the other thread and ve to say that national awards sound as pretentious as the oscars .. I m sure it is a great honor and they give a national platform to independent movies and regional cinema but it sounds as if any movie which is seen as hatke has a better chance of winning.. Movies with social message/biopic/political issues = good cinema (or as maroonporche said pakao lol) that is kind of pretentious :s

Edit: same with acting I imagine.. Serious is automatically better than comedy ..

Surely Akshay definately deserves atleast one National award ..he has given many back to back finest performances in the past and the latest one in Special 26 is impressive..hope he gets it soon.

agree ... for me Herapheri kind of comedy movies also deserved National award ... its not easy to do such kind of spontaneous Comedy

Akshay is a decent actor, he needs to do more performance oriented roles to have a chance.

National Award for best supporting actor in OMG is a pipe dream at best. At least 10 better actors in that category. Like Emraan's chances for Shanghai.

Better chance in Producer but Paan Singh is going to take that IMO.
