There is something called common sense. In one of the questions, the interviewer specifically says Race 2 has crossed the 100 crore line. That alone means the interview was taken very recently, sometime in the past week or so.

I got into a comfort zone where I felt I could do well. Now I feel I have grown. The market has grown from the time I had started. I would like to be more versatile to maximise the potential of a film.

People often call such films mindless potboilers.
Some of them are not mindless but entertaining. It requires heroism along with a great comic timing to make people laugh. You can't make people laugh by being mindless.

Just because despite a not so crisp second half, film managed to make 100 crores, perhaps due to the power of the franchise.

And being Indian is having first having self-respect that includes respecting yourself, respecting your work and respecting your people. Too much to expect from the Nawab!

I'm from America, and I can apply the same rules here.

If Saif wasnt born in India, he might still have the traits you described.

The way I remember it, Sriram had a script that Saif unnecessarily meddled with by adding Kareena in it, and god knows what else he did. It was very obvious that Sriram's sensibilities were clashing with Saif wanting to make it more "commercial"...which screwed up AV. If he'd just gone with Sriram's vision, maybe it would have worked better.
