Both Sriram and Saif were responsible for the movie's flaws. IMO.

i dunt get the big deal abt him being critical of his work...dunt think he phrased it in a way which is insulting at all...just self critical which is fine...u could tell he just did it for the money and the BO clout because of all the hoard of articles writing him off after AV flopped..he needed a hit, he got it...kissa khatam...hes not insulting the film or the audience who liked it...its not his type of cinema, but he had his reasons to do it...bas...

as for AV, i personally enjoyed it despite its flaws...sriram was the perfect candidate to direct the film...he knows such a genre inside out...but perhaps the multiple delays, saif's inexperience as a producer etc etc made it a tad too indulgent...i wouldnt exactly put the blame on anyone...ppl make mistakes, it happens (As long as those mistakes arent consistent ofcourse)...i still believe hes an awsome director and hope he does more work in the future (with saif too)...

The numbers are important. You have to know why you are getting into this. You don't expect it from a film like Being Cyrus. I did that film to enhance my portfolio. It depends on how and what you want in life. Race 2 had to make money. We don't do such films just for artistic integrity. It also requires conviction, as some of the dialogues are pretty difficult to believe in.

I dont find anything wrong with what he said here. But yes mocking the film now thats its all done and dusted and consequently mocking the audience is what I have a problem with.

Saif is such a big hypocrite and dumb.

He is begging for 100 cr. movies and BO successful movies but he acts like he only want critical acclaim and that he is no masala actor but an actor who only does quality movies.

First he does movies like race 2 and then trash them so badly. He is so unprofessional.

Most stars want the money spinners in the end. Thats what gets their career going for a long run. Be it any field money talks.

What saif is sayibg about race 2 maybe right. But for AV I feel it must hurt the direcor sriram to have him blamed. I mean everyone puts in hard work but not right to blame someone publicly. Just own up your mistake and move ahead.

Yeah they think since he did 3 experimental off-beat movies then he has become art actor and he is no longer a commercial actor which is laughable.

They act like he is the only one who has done off-beat movies. Other commercial actors has done off-beat movies too, and some commercial actors has in fact more than saif done art movies but their fans aren't making statements like oh my favorite is an art actor, his cinema is off-beat
