The movie was absolutely Fab and socially very very relevant!!!

By the way, did any of you notice the item song ..which is a classical dance (they were not called item songs..back then) by aamir khan! I had a big solid crush on Aamir and watched this movie initially for that song..however silly it may be!!! 😉

I absolutely love this movie...bit disturbing at times ...but maan the acting and the dialogues are all worth it...

Frankly Sunny was the Star of this movie...second comes meenakshi..
Amrish puri was soo brilliant...

I absolutley loved the back story of sunny deol they showed...lolz..almost a movie can be made on it...

after Damini ...santoshi made AAA...u'll see Amir promoting AAA in Damini...

I agree with Don12...Santoshi's best work has to be with Sunny...Ghayal was 1 awesome movie too...

Recently in 1 topics...YRF-SRK-Sunny ...I saw people actually placing SRK above Sunny...i mean geezz...watch Damini , Arjun, Ghayal...and then say you REALLY think SRK better actor then Sunny..???

Sunny deol is an AWESOME ACTOR...

Edit: Does any one remeber there was this movie named Panaah...any idea who was the director...that was 1good movie too..

yes. That was a classical dance item and meenakshi is very well trained in it. I was surprised that aamir took this up at all..esp when he is not trained in it n also classical male dancers r considered too feminine n a filmy hero wont risk that! i felt it was a risky thing for aamir to do ..n he being aamir did it ! sadly ..it wasnt noticed much! maybe only aamir fans like me saw it!

i think he did it coz of rajkumar santoshi..coz he was a well known director back then n i think he also directed andaz apna apna..so a big connect with aamir there!!
