Being a dance lover , i had big expectations from this movie & i wasnt dissapointed at all.
The less popular Punit Pathak made his presence felt in front of guys like Salman & Dharmesh Sir.
Lauren was impressive.
Ganesh Acharya & Prabhudeva were OK.
Kay Kay Menon was awesome.
Music of Sachin-Jigar was decent. "Bezubaan" my personal fav. amongst its songs .
Another nice job as a director by Remo Sir after "FALTU".

bezuban is beyound awesome 👍🏼

and punit he was mind blowing in the film 👏

I am so glad punit got appreciated, that guy is one of the most underappreciated dancers from DID.

vrushali ka role bhut chota ha not that big like sallu and dharmoo

Amar will be a great choice.
He can act too, i am a regular viewer of his TV Show Dil Dosti Dance.
IMO , the second best male dancer in that show behind a guy called Shantanu.

Did you see Rahul from DID doubles too!

I hope they all get more work!
Yeah, I saw Rahul but him, Paul, Bhavna (DID2), Vrushali, Mohena were more visible in the earlier promos. The people I named above I didnt even notice, and I didnt know they were in it until I saw the last promo.

It's not even really a promo, but you get to see some new faces. 😊

ABCD First Weekend Business

Monday 11th February 2013 10.30 IST

Boxofficeindia.Com Trade Network

ABCD had a decent weekend of 16 crore nett and the film also showed decent growth over the weekend. The film has scored in Mumbai, CP Berar, Nizam and Mysore while business in other circuits is not up to the mark.

The film has done much better in 3D rather than the 2D format. The film has come thirty years after successful dance films like Disco Dancer and Dance Dance but it shows that audience taste has not much changed much. Those films had also score heavily in Mumbai and South with jubilee runs at many centres in these areas but failed in Delhi/UP and East Punjab and its the same story for ABCD - Any Body Can Dance.

It is rare for a a film to collect around 7.50 crore in Mumbai and just over 2 crore nett in Delhi/UP but that is what has happened with ABCD - Any Body Can Dance.

ABCD First Weekend Box Office Collection

ABCD has shown good business over the first weekend at the box office. It has collected around 17.55 crore nett in the opening weekend. ABCD on Sunday collected around 7 crore nett. It registered a jump of around 20% from Saturday collections.

ABCD registered an occupancy of around 70-75% on Sunday. Its opening weekend occupancy is around 60% which is pretty decent. This is good that a dancing film is performing well at the box office. Already makers of ABCD has recovered big returns from theaters and hopefully film will do good business again in weekdays.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 4.8 cr nett.
Saturday - 5.75 cr nett.
Sunday - 7 cr nett.

Total - 17.55 cr nett
