ABCD Remains Decent On Monday

"ABCD" had really good weekend and film collected whooping 16.50 cr nett. That was a great result for a limited release and film with new faces plus competing with a big release.

Though there was a problem that film only performed in selected pockets. Film dropped today and drop was bigger due to performance in only few territories. But still film is heading for good week one.

As per early estimates, film collected 2 cr nett on Monday and that takes film's total to 18.50 cr nett. 1st week should finish in the range of 22 cr nett. That is fair result and film should do business of 25-27 cr nett lifetime.

SPECIAL CHABBIS Rock Solid On Monday

"Special Chabbis" started with some hiccups but exceptiona lword of mouth worked wonders for the film and film managed collections in excess of 26.75 cr nett.

Film grew with each passing day and today was the litmus test for the film. Film passed Monday test and was rock solid in all key centers except Bihar, CP and Nizam. Film dropped by 45% only.

As per early estimates, film should collect 3.75 cr nett on Monday which is just 45% drop from Friday. Film might collect a figure higher than this depending on night show occupancy. Film should touch 40 cr nett in week one.

But the problem is the release of two middle sized films next week and if "Special Chabbis" can score good 2nd weekend then film can aim for great figures. Otherwise 60 cr nett figure looks on the card and that will be below average.
