A Kareena fan threatens suicide to meet her!
Kareena Kapoor recently had a creepy experience, to say the least. A female fan named Vandana landed up at the actor's Bandra home and said she wanted to meet Kareena Kapoor urgently. Things became problematic when she threatened to harm herself with a knife she was carrying, if the star refused to meet her.
"At that point, everyone got worried because no one wanted any kind of untoward incident in the building. And the girl was determined to meet Kareena despite the guards telling her to leave. When things threatened to go out of hand, the actor had no other option but to go to building's lobby and meet her for a while. Only then did she calm down," says an insider close to Kareena.
In order to keep things under control, the actor and her team had called the cops too. "The police officers had to be informed and kept on standby - if anything drastic had happened and to avoid problems. But thankfully, everything went on smoothly once Kareena met her. Then, Vandana was like any normal fan," adds the insider. After spending about half an hour with the star, the fan left.
While the actor couldn't be reached for a reaction, her official spokesperson confirms: "Yes, one of Kareena's die-hard fans camped herself outside her house. She was concerned when she came to know about it and spoke to her." Kareena starts shooting for Punit Malhotra's Gori Tere Pyaar Mein with Imran Khan next.
