Corny lyrics, corny video, ridiculously corny choreography, amateur voice - she can sing *better than most of us around here* though her voice doesn't match the professional requirement to make a singing career out of it. Needless of the mentioned above, don't know how her career graph will turn out be, she's just a song old, i'll give her some time before i make a judgment

I don't see anything different about Priyanka. She is stuck on 'I am Indian and I am different'. It is the wrong approach. She has to figure out a differentiator so that people sit up and notice her.

Besides that she needs to be picky about her songs and her lyrics. I am sick and tired of the 'platinum' hype by the Indian media, because the song sucked. The video sucks too. But she looks HOT in some portions of it.

Hats off to her though. I am glad she is taking a risk.

She looked amazing! She's only thing which makes the video worth watching. I totally comprehend with you, kudos to her for coming out of her comfort zone and doing what she believes in, not many are able to do. Why live in regrets when you know you could have accomplished it. She's living her life. Good for her.

If it was non-existent, you wouldn't be talking about it. It's not a very good song, and she has basically admitted that this is about record companies "breaking" the Indian market. They have just found an Indian star (the only one who can sing) to do it with.

This is what I was thinking.

At first, I was thinking that if she's passionate about something, then why not give it a go.

But really, if its passion for singing...why not release something in India? Why not have a solo pop album in her own country first?
But she instead opted straight for an international debut, which makes me think, its not really passion for singing, but an ambition to become an international celebrity singer. Which is just fame, if I think about it.

See, if AR Rahman makes his mark on an international platform, I"ll root for him, coz the man has talent. He established and proved his worth in his own nation, and then went abroad and show the same to everyone else.

What is Priyanka's talent really?

I dont think she's an exceptional singer. Surely, those competitors in shows like SRGMP can whoop her behind, forget competing with the likes of Sunidhi and Shreya.

My gist is, where's the talent and drive coming from?

She is def doing it for the fame.. that I agree with. But she does have the guts to want to compete with power house performers like Adele, Beyonce, Katy Perry and many more popular American singers.
