Totally agree with you . This is INDIA shining. When Madhuri D wants to pursue her PASSION which is DANCE she is subjected to all lewd remarks.

Look at the hypocrisy on a forum as small as this." Aunty" has been used liberally to describe Madhuri.

But these are the same fans, who have no problem what so ever with SRK , AK and SK. Who are older to Madhuri and nearing the half century MARK.

All these "UNCLES" who are conveniently romancing girls young enough to be their DAUGHTERS. Some of them have no issues even smooching their young co actors on BIG SCREEN.

What a SHAME !!!

I think Madhuri Dixit should do quality work which suits her age and stature. There's no need to do songs or waste appearances or else she'll end up like Rekha, who's there like a diva at award shows and on cover of magazines and does occasional songs here and there in films. I also feel she's being over-exposed, perhaps way more than what she was even when she was ruling in her prime. She could try and be a little more exclusive and selective in her appearances.

And please show a new or more refined side to herself as a performer than repeatedly reviving dancing diva glory at every TV/award show or now films.

Don't know about others but I sure loathe Khan uncles trying to pass off as tigers, college kids, lover boys or superheroes with girls less than half their age. I feel just as some actresses do age-appropriate roles like Sridevi did in EV, similarly actors should also do age appropriate roles only. I am honestly sick of botoxed faces trying to pass off as youngsters. I laughed when Abhishek called himself and gang of oldies as "boys" when Dhoom shooting commenced. Boys are back? More like Boys are back as and with buddahs!

I know what you meant in your post...So I didn't quote you . I was a little offended at the way poster thought it was okay to call her AUNTIE and made lewd remarks. At the end of the day , its her call. I disliked the hypocrisy and the double standards on the Bollywood forum. I have never ever called SRK , AK or SK uncles before ever. Its a professional thing at the end of the day. Its their job. When we can give them this respect is it hard to expect the same for Women actresses.
