What did Asin do in Ghajini?

Do you guys really think asin deserved the best debutant award for ghajini. I didn't find her doing something extraordinary in that film. In a topic a member said that anushka can never do what asin did in Ghajini, the topic was closed so i couldn't ask there that what extraordinary thing asin did in Ghajini. Plz do tell me

Anushka would've been loud and overacting if she was offered this role. Ghajini is the only movie that I liked Asin in. She was too good. Her comic timing was perfect

i think that anu deserved the award better as she was new to films whereas asin was already an actress😒

yes Asin was fab in Ghajini and her role was well written. i don't think she played any 'role' after in any one of her movies. but for ghajini yes she registers a mark. but there is also one thing i will like to point out here. the southern part of this film helped her really to act better in this film. otherwise if she had debuted for the first time, i am sure she would have collapsed like nargis fakhri

Nothing really that great. One would expect much better from someone who has already worked in few films in South industry.

IMO Anushka deserved it more for RNBDJ. She didn't go OTT in that movie and she was totally new to the industry and movies compared to Asin who has experience.

Actually Asin got advantage from fact that she had already played the role down in south! She also had bagged best actress award for same I. Filmfare south
