But you're right-both characters(her's and Anil's) were irrelevant and not required!
I'm disappointed not because it's Ameesha, but they could've done so much with her character and Anil. They were just there and didn't take the plot forward in anyway, unlike Anil and Sameera in the prequel.
He was presented as a loser desperate for money (even though he was a rich retired detective) and she was only his horny assistant. I was hoping her character would have a twist, she could've turned out to be Katrina's sister seeking revenge or something.
But no, it had to be exactly like the prequel. That's what frustrating, they followed the same format as the first one without putting much thought into the screenplay. The producers just wanted to make a quick buck!
