She didn't use the door next to her because her eyes weren't cast behind her. She was looking in front of her, and all she was focused on was the one thing in all the world that she wanted above all others and that she could finally have. That'd be Raj.

It wasn't a matter of trains or getting on trains or anything else. It was a matter of being with her Raj and having her hand in his forever and ever and ever...and three days beyond that.

And that was all she cared about at that time.

No, really...I've met SRK in person and that is the way it feels. I swear.
