Kareena and I won't work together anymore: Saif Ali Khan

Saif and Kareena have worked together in three films - Tashan, Kurbaan and Agent Vinod
They may be the golden couple off-screen, but on-screen Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have never been a hit jodi. And the Nawab of Pataudi himself could not agree more.
Saif Ali Khan spoke to NDTV while promoting his latest movie Race 2 in New Delhi and, when asked if wife Kareena was offered the movie, the actor said, "I don't think she was offered Race 2 and if she had been, we both probaby would have said no."
Surprised? Saif, who has starred with Kareena in three movies, believes that the more comfortable a couple are in real life, the more "terrible" they are to watch on film.
"I don't need to work with Kareena in order to feel fulfilled," the actor points out. "Kareena is a great actor and it would have been nice to work with her," he added.
Not even a good script will reunite the couple on celluloid. Saif says, "I feel it burdens the script when you put two of us together. The fun of the scene becomes dull and that's a danger."
Saif Ali Khan, who tied the knot with Kareena Kapoor in October last year, has worked with her inTashan, Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. And although the couple may not have had a hit run at the box office, we can't help but feel a twinge of sadness that we'll never see Mr and Mrs Khan together for reel.
