i won't call him an ass...as he is my fav but yess he is giving excuses and I agree with u Nikki...Its his job to give wonderful music within the parameters set by the producer/director of the movei...that his job...thats how it works...If u want creative freedom ...u produce ur own album like he has done ...

I remember onve Javed sahab said in an interview that sometimes he is given the music for a song and he has to put lyrics according to that😆😆

i said Rabbi is a great singer but his voice didnt suit the star and where did i say oh thy should look at stars or the actor

Regarding Himesh he suits
Emraan and Akshay mainly...but he can sing whomever he wants

And regarding Rabbi he only one bolly song old so he might suit some actor or not but as a singer hes great ...

But i didnt enjoy the video my opinion but liked the song my opinion..

Err, Deepika and Diana were an example to back up my claim that we've had songs that didn't suit the actors lip-synching to many many times before...it's not something new. People make it seem like Rahman/YRF committed a crime by picking a singer that didn't suit SRK. 😆 My feeling is, you dilute the song itself and the hard work that went into it by focusing on a non-important issue such as it didn't suit the actor lip-synching. It's one thing to say, the song was sung badly..and another to just harp on "it didn't suit" to bring it down.*shrugs*

Rabbi is not only one Bolly song old. He did the music for Delhi Heights too. Remember this?

But JTHJ was his biggest foray into Hindi music industry...just because the album had a wider reach. And yes, he is a great singer. Unfortunately he has a unique voice that doesn't exactly "suit" actors today, but hey...we never cared before, and I don't see why we should ignore good singers just because of that.

Not enjoying the video is different from not enjoying the song :) Songs/music is meant to be listened to. Videos are meant to be seen. Different senses = different responses.
