True 😆

The Pukar soundtrack is one of his best efforts ever. This track in particular is magical, so glad others feel the same 😃

iambest I love that song! Pukar's music was awesome! Kay Sera Sera was awesome!!!!

I also think Swades music was pretty damn good as well. Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera was a pretty good song. I love that movie <3

Challa was the best, I liked Heer too.

All others were average.

Most overrated MD. Hope he did not win this yr... He gets nominated when he composes rubbish and when he gets nominated, he wins.😡

I agree with Rehman 200%. The songs to JTHJ are average imo. Yash Raj has produced a trillion better albums in the past.

Underwhelmed falls short to describe how exactly I felt.

But there is no point making excuses. its better to own up and say man i messed up. Its okay, even the mozart of madras can make mistakes at time. Don't just make excuse ARR. The only good music was the poem and i found it very similar to the tune of motocycle diaries.

I think ARR was at his peak only in the 90s. His 2000s work has also been great, but not as mesmerising as his work in 90s.

The last ARR albums I liked were RDB, Guru and probably 2 songs in Slumdog Millionaire.

Of late it's begun to seem as if his music gets great reviews only because he is THE AR Rahman and not actually for its artistic merit.

JTHJ was weak. Probably among his weakest. Not at all worth the hype. And it also proved that people with contrasting sensibilities shouldn't really team up and may not exactly give awesome output even if they are maestros in their own right. Chopras have an ear for music. But it's not Rahman's sensibility.
