Apparently even though I've lived in England all my life, some of my friends used to say I have an "Asian accent"😆 it's pure Nottinghamish though...but not as posh in London.

I dont see it going indian..and what it mean by that? Even people who come abriad as adults may have been here 20 years or so there indian accent is there i see with my parents etc..just like i move yo india my accent wont change to indian

I can fake american accent too...when i have to talk to them...and I am good at it now😆...Its not like American accent is superior or anything...its just a necessity sometimes...I still prefer the Indian accent over everything else...

My point is that if u don't grow in a particular country ...u don't naturally acquire that accent...

@Hiddenstar- I think one who hasn't lived in UK at all, having a Brit accent is considered as a put on and fake one(:

@Jesss- LOL obviously dude. A persons accent changes according to where they live. My cousin lived in Canada for years and the pure and natural Canadian accent which was so pissing off but after settling in India, within a few years, he got over it.

Absolutely correct...and thats what I was trying to explain to Priyanka...that u don't acquire an accent until u grow up in that place...

but most of us hav an accent similar to the americans frm school, its not like we tried anything for it ,so does that make it fake?? 😆
