Well dabangg was more darker but many i know who very blunt liked d2 more but it was more light hearted dabangg was more serious..

But same goes to dhoom series most liked one more than two like me but we getting a part 3 because its a brand..even american movies have sequels some parts rated higher than others

Anyhow some here knitpicking because some knitpicked on jthj so doing tid 4 tad ..

I didn't like the film as much as first Dabangg. D2 didn't look like it could carry the brand forward. It's a hit but surely disappointing considering it was supposed to do huge.

This film has shown content does matter. How much can star take a film forward?

Films like D2, Talaash, JTHJ have shown that so-called pre-release analysis or boasting of records on basis of cast, banner, release date, business of previous films is pointless.

That said only Salman is making such films work. Or to some extent Ajay. Other stars would be rejected from day 1!
