A problem with newcomers is also that they tend to try to emulate older stars instead of giving a fresh persona to audience to get excited about. Salman-Aamir were a refreshing alternative to ageing Bachchan and assembly line action heroes. Hrithik was a refreshing change too when he'd arrived.

Newcomers have shown Khan or Hrithik hangover. No persona of their own!

No I dont think thats true. The old boys can look after themselves and hence they demandtoo huge profits from these guys. And Adi, KJo are loathe to share the spoils. Hence the attention to newcomers. But these newcomers are all too preetified and designed to please. They remind me of Miss India contestants where you cannot tell one attractive woman from another. They look the same and say the same things with the same accent. To stand out one needs a distinct personality. And that distinct personality should connect with the masses. Otherwise as soon as one gets too demanding he is replaced by another.

We hear horror stories at times of Salman or SRK(not sure if all are true or not) but can you imagine them replacing each other in each others roles? But Varun can easily replace Sid and viceversa. In fact I had difficulty in even telling them apart.
