Dabangg 2 Weekend Territorial Breakdown: RECORDS In Many Circuits

Dabangg 2 collected 58.25 crore nett over its first weekend. The all India collections were a record for the first three days as well as many circuit records for three days. The highest total before was Ek Tha Tiger at 56 crore nett approx and the highest total without a holiday in any of the first three days was Rowdy Rathore at 46 crore nett approx. The first weekend territorial breakdown is as follows

Mumbai - 19.17 crore

Delhi/UP - 11.08 crore

East Punjab - 4.95 crore

West Bengal - 3.15 crore (RECORD)

Bihar - 1.62 crore (RECORD)

CP Berar - 3.29 crore (RECORD)

CI - 2.61 crore (RECORD)

Rajasthan - 3.70 crore (RECORD)

Nizam - 3.24 crore (RECORD)

Mysore - 3.05 crore

TNK - 1.17 crore (RECORD)

Others - 1.23 crore

TOTAL - 58.26 crore (RECORD)

The Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer has collected a total of Rs 64.66 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. Its breakup is Rs 21.10 cr on Fri, Rs 19.06 cr on Sat and Rs 24.5 cr on Sun. With this, Dabangg 2 has broken three days record of Ek Tha Tiger, which had collected Rs 32.92 cr on Wed, Rs 14.5 cr on Thu and Rs 12.90 cr on Fri. However, Salman Khan's Dabangg was a Blockbuster movie at the Indian Box Office and its success had created a lot of craze and expectations among the film goers for Dabangg 2. The makers had done massive promotion for the movie. Although the sequel received mixed reviews from film critics, Salmania drove the viewers crazy towards theatres in its opening weekend. Trade experts say that it is expected to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the Box Office on December 25.
