It was a good movie with great performances, but I didn't think it deserved to be in the Oscars list because of all the chorified scenes.

Btw, I'm Canadian as well and haven't heard of War Witch till now either 😕😆

hey...speak for urself. i KNOW about war witch, but missed out. they had this one playing only at downtown, special screenings...damn,,,they should have played it all cineplexes.

anyways...hey good one there nitu, yes they should have thrown EV at oscars..no harm, originial, who knows maybe that would have worked.

The Canadian film industry is so.. small and quiet. There was no hoopla around which movie is being sent to 85th Academy Awards.

Congrats to briahna for actually knowing what War Witch is... I am gonna go Google it now. I dislike many Canadian films; hopefully I'll like this one. 😆

And I agree with Nitu. I think EV would have been a good choice... haven't watched PST, so don't know about that.

i liked the movie and i wouldnt call it plagarized but comeon...it borrowed heaps n heaps from other movies...some even exact scenes...this was bound to happen...

i really wish they sent kahaani instead...
