I meant acting wise. No one, besides her fans that is, took Deepika seriously before Cocktail happened.

...as for OSO, the hype was around Deepika, not Shanti Priya...and that was way more due to the insane hype SRK-Farah created for her along with the big clash with Saawariya + other stuff...as for LAK, Deepika was easily the weakest link of that film along with Imtiaz's boring script. So really, Cocktail is the only film she might be remembered for, so far that is.

As for BBB's BO, it doesn't really matter. People don't remember such stuff anyways..After JWM, it was probably the only unanimously loved rom-com (even though JWM is better). Deepika has yet to have that one film that's unanimously loved by everyone.

I thought deepika's acting was great in Lafangey Parindey...way better than any of her movies but of course the movie flopped. Her acting was good in the last scene of KHJJS when she's in jail and her husband is being killed, her crying scene was great. I feel that deepika is good at crying, emotional scenes and even critics have notice that. I feel that an actress is an actress if she's good at crying scenes. But of course she still needs to improve on her other scenes

honestly the only movies I remember of Deepika and Anu are Cocktail and BBB so I think Deepika is always a drunk girl and Anu is actually punjabi (which I recently heard she's not).

I think Deepika is not a bad actress even from OSO days. Like Choco says, it's just that none of her roles were significant apart from Cocktail

The only movie I watched of Anushka is BBB, I started watching badmash company, it was too boring, not interested at all, it was a headache so didn't finish watching and not interested in watching her other movies.
