Talaash's 64 Crores in the first week for a non-masala, supernatural thriller is not bad at all. Glad it fared well. :)

Jab Tak Hai Jaan Beats Barfi; Grabs 4th Position in Koimoi Top 10 India Box Office 2012

After earning approximately Rs 2 crores in the last weekend, Jab Tak Hai Jaan added another 1.10 croresfrom Monday to Thursday to land at a domestic total of Rs 120.15 crores at the Box Office. Jab Tak Hai Jaanhas lived its life at Indian Box Office and has surpassed the lifetime collection of Ranbir Kapoor's Barfi! by a small margin.

Jab tak Hain Jaan now stands at No 4 position this year with Rs 120.15 crores in its kitty and beats Barfi shifting it to No 5 position in the Koimoi.com Bollywood Top 10 India Box Office 2012 ladder.

Son of Sardar added around 1.20 crores between Monday to Thursday and now stands at a domestic total of about Rs 104.40 crores at Box Office. Talaash or Khiladi 786 can be a threat to dislodge SOS from its current position of No .7. Whereas, Dabangg 2 is touted to change JTHJ's position in this list.

According to BOI, SS owners don't pay TAX on some items, so BOI cuts that Tax deduction from SS figures.

I don't get it how come a Single Screen's theater will have almost 15-17 Cr Tax per film 2 pay which BOI Cut from official figures of Taran/Komal & rest of the sites????

Barfi is a multiplex hit, how come Taran reached 100 cr 7 days before BOI coz acc. 2 dem plex figures run in same direction? koi tax ka panga nahi...

Even in plex figures they r behind in days as well as 5-10 cr... Itna TAX ka jholjhaal in plex also??

BOI is a website who only have the benefit of reporting BO figures from many years... isliye earlier they felt they are sole reporter, so they made their own formulas...

Pick up magazines, any Bolly sites, Big Big Blockbuster movies, which earn tremendous success are termed as Semi-Hits in BOI, what kind of logic is that??

Now if u go by Semi-Hit theory, not only my fav. even other actor's big big film will come in average to semi-hit circle... some even those which made huge effect on their career...

if BOI is so reliable, how come in their Top 3 actor's year wise list, Some actors are on Top even though they don't have a single release that year...???

They have given BO figures to classic films from way back 1950-60-70-80-90 till now... may be only site which has this much data... but how much it is authentic?? It only depends on ppl who wanna believe it on dem or wanna go by other Bo Reporters.
