Ash,Kat,Bebo,PC,Bips,Dips and others have built an aura of love lust,jealousy,break ups .. fantasy world of hot virile men,lusting women..

That is what Bollywood is about..love sex and dhokha.

Men and women relate and sympathise with love affairs, heartbreaks..it makes the stars seem human and vulnerable,like the rest of us..The most loved celebs around the world are the troubled ones..who mess up now and then in their personal lives..not princesses who live in ivory towers

Sonam seems to be driven only by fashion and clothes..what she seems to want from men is not HIM..but a high maintenance lifestyle..

It has been Sonam's biggest undoing..

In showbiz ,If you are not HOT..you are out in the cold..its that simple! and hotness is not about clothes,however revealing it may be..it is the sensual body and mind!

Hits and flops don't matter much when you can act well and have shown grit and determination. Kangna is a National Award winner and multiple Filmfare Award winner. She is here to act, and here to stay. She takes the profession seriously. Unlike Sonam who is just a tabloid starlet. I loved her in Saawariya and felt she was far more impressive than Deepika in OSO. I also loved her in Delhi-6, IHLS and her performance in Aisha was brilliant.

Unfortunately since then she has been freefalling in my eyes.

Also, Double Dhamaal was a HIT. And it had the third biggest opening of the year at the time of release!

No she is not and I actually think if she even cared about her acting she would have done so well imo, she is a okay actress it's just annoying when I just wish she does more films so that we can see her acting...she still needs a lot of improvement.

I was actually thinking of including her, but then decided to be serious for once. 😆 Surely with her superhit releases next year, she will be number one. ;)

Why do people care where she is in the rat race?

Sonam has been disappointing for her fans but maybe it's good for her life. If the only way to be popular and happening is by having a messed up personal life then she has already made the choice! Her personal life is anything but messy! She is going steady for 3 yrs now and will probably end up marrying this guy!

She has always said that acting is something she wants to do all her life and that it is her job (Anushka said she wants to act for 5 more years or so). So I always thought she should just do good roles(and act well in those!) and stop competing. She is not cut out for the rat race. If she gets somewhere in the rat race using her own rules, then good but if not then not care (change career if necessary!). I do think Sonam is doing really well when it comes to charitable work so far! I also like how she supports her friends like Masaba and Shehla and helped them get so much exposure! She made Masaba famous!

In any case, my motto is that if you (male or female) are not passionate about anything and have many interests, then just do your work whatever it is to be independent, do something good for the world, read good books, learn new things, go home and spend time with spouse, raise good kids and have fun! And always define your own success!

That is a big assumption to make! Her fashionista image is the image she sells because it sells. It is indeed the one way she managed to come back into limelight after her first two films tanked. It's an image that has worked for her- like she said other people get attention for their messed up personal lives she will use fashion instead! And in her personal life she is very simple girl- Imran was saying somewhere how she is so different in her personal life- that he can't put the two images together! And if all she wanted was a high maintenance lifestyle she would be dating a rich businessman not a struggling director who has been an AD for most of his life! I will tell you what she wants- she wants from HIM is not HIM but his love for HER 😆

Sonam may not be in the top 10 now but I think she is going to be around for a very very long time. Long after she is 40 she will still be in the news because she loves to dress up and that sells.

In between she may just surprise people and make movies that become big hits. Now the time for old era romance is gone with brainless movies like Dabang becoming hits. But her time will come.
