The fact is what Salman pulled in Dabangg, no other actors could fit the shoes of that character. Dabangg's most plus side was Salman's role. It was also termed as role of a Lifetime. Infact, Salman won majority of awards that year besides the most typical ones - Zee Cine, Iifa and our all mighty Filmfare!

@bold...that has been the case with all the recent Salman's movies. It does not matter whether movie is shitty or trashy, film does good business..Its about his popularity but that does not mean his performane are good enough to be considered for the award. Dabang is a shitty movie and so is his role Chulbul Pandey. He might have deserved for Tere Naam but not for Dabang The Trash.
