Acting wise, I'd say Anushka, but having said that, at least Deepika explores different kind of roles. Anushka is still stuck with the loud, outgoing types of roles. She needs to try new things to be honest. 🤔

But I enjoy watching both of them on and off screen. :)

I personally prefer Deepika Padukone... At least she acts.. anushka doesnt act.. she is just being the gil she actually is.. same kind of roles.. she is just being herself.. but Deeps.. from that shanti to veronica.. hats off babes!

Anushka overacts...and it's not natural but I liked her in BBB, that's the only movie I thought she was good. Badmash company, paatila house, RickyVLadies, I couldn't manage to finish watching those movies. I haven't seen her recent movie JTHJ

Both have 1 major role to prove they can "act"--BBB and Cocktail.

Anushka seems to have stuck herself in a rut though, while Deepika has some different roles.
At the same time, Deepika's also done more than double the films Anushka has...so obviously she would have experimented and explored more.

I loved parineeta more in ricky v ladies...that's a powerhouse talent. She stole the spotlight from the leads which was ranveer-anushka

I don't watch much of Anushka's movies. I just liked her in RNBDJ, BBB and JTHJ out of the ones I did watch. BC, LVRB, PH were all too boring for me to even finish watching. But yeah, she is just stuck doing similar roles. And she's gonna play a loud, outgoing character again in MKBKM. Doesn't she get bored? 🤔

I liked Deepika in OSO, KCK, Aarakshan, Cocktail.. and I heard she was good in LP and KHJJS which I didn't watch. But there have been movies like BAH and BKB where she was absolutely horrible. However, I like DP, because at least she tries new things despite her fluctuating display of talent.

At this point, would defo. have to say Deepika Padukone.

I thought Anushka's better in terms of actual acting skills, but lately Deepika's taken that cake too.

IMO Deepika did better on one film, than Anushka has in her films. I liked her in Rab Ne, but been downhill from there

with that said, Anushka's awesome with her energy and I wish she used it in different roles now..

for the same reason, I'm not really looking forward to watching her in Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola

Anushka tends to overract at times, while Deepika oscillates from horrible (BKB, BAH, LAK) to good (Cocktail). She seems to have forgotten how to act again in Race 2 from the trailers that is ...in short both have their plusses and minuses.

I think both of them still have a very long way to go though.

Deepika for being really good in Karthik Calling Karthik, Cocktail, Love Aaj Kal, and Aarakshan. KHJJS was an ok movie. Definitely not Gowarikar's best. The climax was awful, but preclimax, DP was good. She challenged herself a lot more in her first few years than Anushka did. Anushka was really good in Band Baaja Baraat and even Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi though that was a terrible movie. She was super amazing in the last scene where apparently she sees god in Surinder.
