Watched this movie on Sunday. It was a good film, but have to admit that it was a little disappointing. I guess I went into this film with too high expectations. It was not a bad film in anyway, but one expects so much more from an Aamir Khan film, especially since he's last release was 3 idiots, I expected much much more I guess...

OMG I so agree! He looked like a goblin, actually 😆

So because of Kareena Kapoor Khan everyone's movie will flop? And you are calling her a panauti?😕 And what bad luck? There's no such thing.

'Talaash' not a universal film: Aamir Khan

Bollywood star Aamir Khan knows his latest release "Talaash" does not cater to a universal audience, but he is glad with the response it has received.

Bollywood star Aamir Khan knows his latest release "Talaash" does not cater to a universal audience, but he is glad with the response it has received.

"'Talaash' is not a universal film. There is a supernatural element in this film and it was a risky film to make. Around 80 to 90 per cent of the audience liked the film," Aamir told reporters here Tuesday.

He says his next release "Dhoom 3" is a universal project.

"Even kids will like that film. But 'Talaash' has got a different audience," said Aamir.

"But I am glad that the film has opened so well and is doing good business at the box office. What made me really happy was that the emotion that I went through while shooting for the film, even the audience went through the same emotion while watching it," he added.

Aamir, who plays a police officer in the movie, says "Talaash" has a repeat value.

"I don't think that a suspense drama does not have any repeat value. In fact, the audience is liking the film more when they are watching it for the second or third time. The film has not got 100 percent positive response as many people may not like the supernatural films, but 'Talaash' has repeat value," he said.

Aamir feels the movie will inspire filmmakers to push their creative boundaries.

"I am happy that the audience is liking this films. It is a very difficult film to make. When such film work at the box office, it pushes the boundaries for the creative people to explore their talent," he said.

He says the team behind "Talaash" is not planning a sequel as of now.

Directed by Reema Kagti and penned by Zoya Akhtar, "Talaash" also features Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor.

so masses dont hav any class ?? 😕 this is ridiculous.!!

TALAASH Looks To Heading For Average Weeek One

As we said in our report yesterday, "Talaash" dropped in big way across the board and except multiplexes film is showing already sign of slowing down. And this is another Excel Entertainment film which fails to strike chord with audience on national basis after "Don 2", "Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara" and "Rock On".

Film collected 6.75 cr nett on Monday and film stands at 53.85 cr nett in 4 days. And going by todays trends, film looks to further drop by 15-20% and that is not a good new for the film. Film will finish with less than 67 cr nett week one and that makes 100 cr nett a difficult task.

Film continued its fantastic form overseas and collected humongous 27 cr over weekend and in days film should cross 32-33cr nett. Film will collect 100 cr nett worldwide in 6 days. But after that to touch 150 cr worldwide looks a tough task.

By the end of today "Khiladi 786" bookings will be more or less final and film will be releasing in 2700 plus screens. This will further dent the business of "Talaash" all over.

Below are the collections for the film -
