he normally dosent give favourable reviews for aamir's movies...3idiots, ghajini, fanaa all recieved average to bad ratings from him...and he never reviewd RDB but i think he made it clear on a few occasions tht he didnt particularly like the film...i think he gave 3 stars to TZP (his most favourable aamir khan film review) but thts abt it...

Raja Sen isn't an Aamir fan, but I thought maybe this time he would be okay...considering this seems to be more on the "intelligence" scale than Aamir's previous films...but guess not...

pathaka..raja sen was spot on ghajni, and fanaa. fanaa was one shitty movie. yes 3 idiots, well he should have at least given a good review.

i love reading his reviews.

Talaash Has Good Opening At Multiplexes

Talaash opened well at multiplexes in its first shows in this morning. The opening ranged from excellent to decent depending on city and location. There were multiplexes that opened at 90% while others were at 50%.

On average it is a 70% opening at multiplexes. The film has a very heavy release at multiplexes with a huge number of shows at most properties across the country. The single screen release is more muted as the distributors did not give the film to single screen exhibitors unless they committed to a two week run.

The single screen opening will be lower as multiplexes in tier two cities have opened lower. The evenings at metro multiplexes tend to be strong for this type of a film so day one should could come out with a good total on the strength of multiplex business.

Talaash does 130 crore business even before release

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan "Talaash" has made a new record. Even before its release the movie has earned 130 crores.

Film watchers are excited about its success when it will be released in therates on Friday.

Aamir Khan's last three hits - 3 Idiots, Ghajini and Taare Zameen Par - were released on Christmas. Talaash, however, will get a work-day release (November 30) across 2400 screens in India.

The advance booking of movies usually begins on Monday and Wednesday, but it was different in ase of Taalash. Mr Perfectionist film's booking started at the counter right from Sunday itself.

However, industry watchers and trade pundits have already christened Taalash as Aamir Khan's next big hit after 3 idiots.

Saw it last night and i would say I was a tad disappointed because I expected it to be a very taut, "cant guess who done it" type of a thriller , which it isnt... I felt at places that the story was dumbed down a bit and didnt like that.. performances are fab... Aamir is always good, I loved Rani, she was exceptional in one scene where she confronts Aamir... Kareena is very good, too- loved her in a couple of scenes with Aamir where she talks about her pain...

I wish there were more twists and turns, tho...story becomes too obvious once you've understood it- and I guessed it too early on :(

As a matter of fact i thought aamir was only GOOD in his performance,considering the kind of actor he is and the performances he has given,this imo,i was slightly disappointed..may be i had really high hopes,so didnt enjoy the movie as i wished,but cmmon,if u do only 1 film in like 2 yrs,people r bound 2 have huge expectations from ur product
