LOL, thanks to all of you for clearing it

but i don't get it. Yash Johar (karan's dad) he was not involved with it? i always thought he made DDLJ and later karan followed the foot steps with KKHH etc

As far as I know, Yash Johar Uncle hasn't directed any films. It has all been Karan.

Yash Johar was a producer and found Dharma Productions. He never directed any movies. I don't think he was involved with DDLJ...

you know when I watched KKHH whn I was kid when I got to know it was KJ who directed I thought he directred DDLJ too but that was wrong🤣

I had similar confusions too sania, I was also a kid during KKHH times and always thought he was the master mind behind DDLJ along with his dad which i kept on thinking till date LOL

No, Yash Johar was not at all associated with DDLJ. Dharma and YRF are different PH's, though I guess many end up thinking they're the same because of the kind of films they make 😆 Yash Johar was a producer...he never directed anything. He founded Dharma Productions and Karan followed the legacy after his death (but Karan is also a director). Karan was an assistant director on DDLJ sets, and he had a cameo in the film too. That's probably the only association Dharma had with DDLJ.

Maybe you're confused because both names are Yash. 😆 I couldn't tell them apart when I was younger as well.
