See your dermatologist, OP. 😃

I suffer from acne too.. but in my opinion Ypu just have to experiment and see what works for you in terms of face products don't experiment with medication unless You talk to your doctor. For me, proactive didn't work but for others it works... you just have to try it and see if your willing to spend the money. Currently what worked for me is Clear and Clean products... I know some mentioned tht didn't work for them but it worked for me. Also there's this thing called clearsonic.. it's a tool that scrubs the face and bring out newer more clear skin... gets rid of dead skin. I haven't tried it because its super expensive but I know it worked for some people. But there is a tool like that you can buy for cheap.. I think mine came with Loreal's face wash... that tool made a HUGE difference in clearing my skin.

here's the product... I don't use Loreal's face wash... but you see in the middle... that's where the scrubby disk thing is.. you put any of your fav face wash on the scrubber and scrub your face lightly.. again I use clean and clear.. it works for me and its cheap so it won't hurt to try these producs.

here's the scrubby thing am talking about: http://coolspotters.com/health-beauty/loreal-go-360-clean-face-wash

clear and clean face wash I use: it's creamy and won't dry your skin

I also use moisturizer after I wash my face and it makes a great difference esp if You use moisturizer that has sialic acid in it.. like this on on #2 it moisturized your skin while fighting off future acne and also clearing up your current acne... http://allwomenstalk.com/7-great-summer-moisturizers/

My doctor had given me a medicine called Roche Accutane, but it has lots of side effects, especially for females, so you have uses it with doctor supervision. Your doctors have to monitor you blood results to check if it having the intended impact. I took the pills for only couple of months and I have never gotten acne again.

anything that has Hydroquinone in it. BUT, be very careful, if your skin is really sensitive, it might do more harm, this is a bleaching cream. You can get this over the counter. Just walk to the nearest drug store and talk to the pharmacist.

Ana, there are many many products available. I would say, give time, these scars sometimes fade aways itself. Maybe not completely but it will.

Make sure you clean your face daily, apply toner, and a moisturizer with SPF 15/25. Stick with the basic, no need to spend $$$.

Please consult your doctor before applying anything.

thanks sooo much. For my acne i spent money like crazy on dermatologists and their medications. I applied what they gave me for over a yr didn't help one bit. Then my aunt sent this creme from india lol i call it a magic creme. Bc not only did it clear up my acne in 2 weeks but also improved my skin color.

but a few weeks ago all of a sudden my skin broke out over night i think i ate something bad. And the acne went away within a week but left these noticeable black marks. Lol ppl look at me as if i had chicken pox. And of course anywhere i go i get these annoying ass aunties "omg what happened to your face. Haiii" lol grrr i hate going out now.

but im going to ask my pharmacist about Hydroquinone. Thanks so much for the suggestion

I would NOT recomemnd hydroquonin to anyone. Its cons outweigh the pros.

For acne spots use anything with GLYCOLIC ACID. Theres Glytone and theres DDF among others (i use DDF with fantastic results, marks r gone within a week).

Does wonders for those who it suits. Again, something that needs to be introduced to the skin slowly. Theres a breakout period before it finally settles in to do its wonders. Its also great for wrinkles and the like.
