when Gadar and Lagaan released bcz Lagaan was long movie it had 3 shows only per day while Gadar had 4 ( normal shows ) ... so assume Lagaan had less screens and Gadar had more ( bcz of 3 and 4 shows difference )

and Lagaan had great content yet earned less than Gadar ...screens do matter to some extent but yes then at the end of the day content also matter ... look at ra-one amd MNIK... bcz of publicity got good opening then fall flat

YRF is trying their best to make sure that this movie becomes blockbuster , 200 cr ... by Hook or By Crook

be it by Using Salman's star power to get the screens for JTHJ or using Yash Chopra's death now , emotional factor /blackmailing or other publicity ways ( ahem kat wardrobe malfunction 😉 ) ... and when it will release we'll see lots of figures articles oh this break this record and that record 😉

heck even Aamir have pre-booked screens for Talaash...does that make him insecure? no coz thats Aamir Khan but here we are talking about SRK so whatever he does becomes cheap tactics and he is labeled insecure...wow what an easy way to always make ur fav look best...

areey, why waste time on people who dont even pay attention to read and understand properly? and have no idea about legal deals but kept talking about wrong facts. just waste of time.!!. Like posts saying Kat's malfunction was done purposely, Yash JI's death is the reason JTHJ gonna have a HIT tag and at least saying , "YRF needs to release pre booked screens for SOS, eventhough SOS came from no where to share the date after one year,SOS deserves eaqual number of screens because both are masala films " are the icing cake of having no IQ.
