What a irony, he was known for making his heroine look amazingly beautiful and extra special in his movies and he never got to work with one of the most beautiful actresses of bollywood.

Veer-Zaara was written with Aishwariya in mind. She was supposed to do the film but due to the whole friction between Ash-SRK at the time over the "Chalte Chalte fiasco" in 2003, Ash was subsequently replaced by Preity Zinta.
