I liked Varun more after I saw the film (I had no idea who was who till two days back!😆) but now I am slowly converting into Sid mode!😳 Maybe if I watch the film again, I will become a Pankhi of Sid! But Varun is someone I am gonna watch out for! He is definitely not as dashing and hot as Sid, but I think he has more potential as an actor!

PS: Smarie, your review is so cute😆 I could see that Sid had that sort of influence on a lot of young girls in the theatre...not one of them even moved from their seats when he was on-screen!

^^yep tht i agree with...varun is more natural and caual in front of the camera whereas sid has a slight awkwardness (which totally works for this movie, not sure abt the future though)...

but thankfully, both can act and they dont seem like assholes from whtever interviews ive seen of them either...

must say i like the new gen...biru, immu, arjun, ranveer, varun, sid, ayushmaan...i like where we are heading...👍🏼

Kukkad... that song has become my latest earworm. Before it was Radha and while I still love Radha very much, I just cannot stop thinking about the picturization of Kukkad. And I absolutely cannot express how much I LOVED the dance off between Abhi and Rohan towards the end of the song. Sid did look quite awkward there 😆, but damn! That song totally made him look like some Greek God! Yayyy, finally there is a Greek God I can crush on and not the horrible *cough*Hrithik*cough*.

Varun has immense potential as an actor. Before this film came out, I once saw him in this short film he directed starring him and Arjun Kapoor on Youtube, and they both looked sooo young and awkward, I thought THIS was the guy KJo chose for his movie? 😆

But, boy! Was I wrong. He's absolutely terrific.

BTW, I couldn't reply to you yesterday, but yes, KJo is amazing at converting cynics to swooning girls, LOL. I don't really consider myself a 'cynic' but I didn't expect to like the movie as much as I did.

lol...i didnt even know who was siddarth and who was varun from the promos...they both looked the same to me...😆

but im glad they proved me wrong...sid has a nice smile...

and when he cried in tht dadi scene...i srsly wanted to leap into the screen to give him a hug...😆...oh ghad..i havent been in fangirl mode since AGES...too busy being the badass cynical bitch or the holier than thou neutral member...

being a fan is too much fun...😆

btw...kjo haters on twitter are punch worthy...they should jus STFU...they are more annoying than kjo himself...😡😆

I saw an interview of the three and found Sid to be so cute in it! He comes across as so shy and sweet...Varun seems more confident and serious! But its really nice to see the new generation not coming across as complete douchebags off-screen!

I think SOTY is one of those rare films where you just can't choose between the parallel leads...generally everyone has a clear favorite, but with Sid and Varun...its always a 19-20 equation! I think most people who saw the film ended up liking both the guys, maybe a few liked Sid more and the others liked Varun more...but I doubt if any of them was disliked by the audience!

ghad im watching sid in the anupama chopra interview and hes stealing my khaleja...😳😆
