i have yet to see barfi to know whether PC qualifies as a leading lady or not! she was awesome no doubt but im not sure if she was even the leading actress or not!

bipasha has always had tough luck with awards, theyll place her in best negative actor category only!

dpad might get nominated in some functions where as in some other ones she will be placed in supporting category (kind of what they did with PC in aitraaz, she was the lead yet she was nominated in supporting category in some)

katrina would be compensated by winning the POPULAR screen award for best actress

PZ would be no where- no explanations needed!

that leaves

Rani-Vidya-Kareena-Sri devi

Kareena i doubt will be given any best actress awards as the movie is so massively criticized. She might win critics ones

that leaves rani-vidya and sri devi

i guess awards will be shared among these three!

Just thinking about who will get the Best Actress Popular/Critics awards gives me a headache. Good luck to juries. I am glad I don't have their job. 😆

Katrina, Karishma and Bipasha/Deepika might not get nominated due to the stiff competition from others

She would get nominated but would NOT win first because of critical and commercial failure of Heroine, then she seemed to be drinking and smoking and crying throughout film, which seemed unnecessary (though I admit she was really good in it)

The lady was just FAB! I so hope she sweeps the awards, not lead but atleast supporting! I hope she wins it

Sridevi

She was fab in the film and since she has made a strong comeback, jury might favour her only! No probs because she also deserved it

Vidya

She was awesome in Kahaani it seeing the tiff competition, may be not! And I m bored of her winning always

Bipasha, Deepika and Rani will get nominated!

(Hope What Rani has in store for us)

Katrina and Karishma has pzzz no chance!

So the awrad should go either PC or Sridevi ( Vidya bhi add karlo)

Yes It will be a tough call between Sridevi and Vidya. PC gave a grt performance but she was pissed as she was dominated to almost 90 percent by Ranbir Kapoor in Barfi ! she ain't gonna win it because the film is not centered on her. to win the award you have to match the lead actor or perform better than him. it didn't happen in PC's case but she is def. going to be in the nominees.

Dont agree with that fully.. In 2003 or whenever Veer Zaara movie was released, Rani got Best actress award even though SRK's acting was brilliant in the movie.. Plus, PC has chance to win the Actress award cuz she doesnt have to surpass Ranbir Kapoor for the category, it would be with that new girl 😆

And for the award, I dont see any choice except Sri Devi.. 😊 The lady is back ! 😛 B-town should be scared 😛
