One of the things that really caught my attention was that Subhash Ghai (??) in one of his interviews said that Juhi, Madhuri, Raveena, Karishma, etc are to one side, and Divya alone is on one side.

That kinda tells me that she either had industry rivals (directors, actresses, and their chamchas) or that she was murdered for coming to know the truth of her husband. Either way, she had to leave, so she left us.

Well I don't know how far-spread it was. And to be honest I totally forgot all about it, as I had only ever heard it from my sister who read all the magazines back then. I was surprised somebody else mentioned it after so many years.

By the way, Raveena does seem sweet, but she famously had fights (including physical) with Karisma Kapoor. This was all over the magazines at the time, and more recently Farah Khan revealed on Koffee With Karan during the making of"Ya Mustafa" song from Aatish, Ravs and Lolo were stamping on each others shoes and whipping their wigs into the other's faces. Their feud went on for years

Is is said that --- It ALL started after she married SAJID -- the producer guys who is known to have links with underworld. She was too young to marry someone ---just a teenager - / @ Her hubby was known to provide bolly girls to some underworld dons -- It was said that Divya went into serious depression after knowing his reality and his WEIRD demands from her --- When she denied to agree with his demands, i think they decided end her story - / @@@ POOR GIRL -- she was too cute in movies :)

You mean to say Sajid was an undercover pimp to the underworld wallahs? Damn! I want to chop certain protruding parts of his body now!!! 😡

YEP YEP === You probably know that in 90's bollywood had strong connections with Underworld -- almost every other movie was financed by underworld. There are photos of so many bolly stars including salman/sanju having dinner with Dawood or attending his parties ---- / @@ After 93 blasts, it all stopped specially when Sanju got into TROUBLE ------/ @@ Back then it was easy for producers to supply bolly girls to underworld ---- and some celebs would do it for the SAKE of HUGE MONEY they receive -------remember, these days celebs earn not only from movies but from brand endorsement or fashion shows ----@ But in 90's their major source of earning was only MOVIES so some wanna be actresses like mandakini would sleep with anyone for MONEY _--- / @@@ I was a little kid back then but read about all this recently ---@@

so it means that since neeta lulla was present there she knew how divya died. im sure the whole incident must be haunting her even today...unless that is she knew if that was about to happen or whoever pushed divya down. thats ghastly.

I only pray we get to know the truth one day😭 There is no one like her ever existed such a angelic face so much inoncent. She will be alaways the number 1 actress for me!! my all time favorite!!!

PS: There was also a rumor that Madhuri couldn't resist Divya got so poular in a very little time and grab all the movies and attention and that time Madhuri was one of the mega actress so she had a hand on planing Divya's Death. But yet its a mystry!!😭

Divya Bharti's death would always remain a mystery.

Someone had posted her parents interview some time back in this forum.They said that Divya had to go to Hyderabad to shoot for a telugu film on that fateful day but she made an excuse and did not go.Her father and Sajid dropped her in that house(i don't remember whose house was that) around 10 or 10.30pm and left.Neeta lulla,her husband and a maid were there in that house at that time and there was no party(so no actress was present there at that time so it was a rumour).All were busy with their work and suddenly they realised divya fell down from the balcony.Somehow i felt little strange when i heard this.

Her parents said that she never used to drink nor take drugs.The reason for her fall was she was very careless girl and won't think twice before doing anything.They said that it was an accident and noone was involved in her death nor did she commit suicide.

I will search for that interview and post it here.

Divya was my fav.actress,i was in 5th std. at that time and i still remember her.Her death had left a deep impact on my mind at that time.
