Looks like she has a superficial mind and i think she either needs to change it or gets it cured to pick up those movies that has substantial stories. Also i feel she is in delusion that she can make any movie hit even if it has monotonous story.

I disagree with those people who say that Ra.one is boring movie. NO re. It was one of the good movies and i enjoyed it even when i watched it. SRK-KAREENA pairing was treat to watch on Screen.

that movie has had a substantial script, hence it was hit without having a big name in it. If Vidya had done EMAET, was it hit then? I doubt. Since it has had boring script that turned off most of the viewers.

beboholic you spoke my mind, I just dont know what she is actually thinking when she listens to the script. I know they all make mistakes and i dont hold anything against her for signing crap like Ra-one, bodygaurd etc as she wanted hits etc not even AV but for heroine i do!

What was she thinking?

she kept on telling how the last 20 mins of the movie are so amazing and this and that, seriously? for all those who have seen the movie; i am sure many will differ from bebo, it was just a drag!

When you are doing something to get hits its okay to let go script-so nothing against her for signing ra-one etc

but when your signing something to win awards and really perform you cant ignore the script as that can affect your performance.

I think she is insecure and a follower than a trend setter and that is her problem. Kat does a sheila ki jawani n she does a halkat jawani, PC does a fashion so she wants to work with Madhur, Vidya does TDP so she wants to act bold! Use your brain woman!

I feel sad here because she is a terrific terrific actor who has always made more of a fool of herself due to her bad decisions and loud mouth!

I love it when fans can be objective like u and Beboholic are...I hope she is surrounded by people like u guys...who can tell her the reality the way it is instead of sugarcoating it...These stars are always surrounded by people...and there are lot of yes men among them...who will just say what these stars want to listen...these kind of people do the stars more harm than good...because they don't let the stars come out of their bubble and see the reality...

@TM: You have answered your own question in the first post itself. Kareena just goes for big names/big banners. She was doing it from her first film when she dumped KNPH for Refugee as Refugee would have the Bachchan surname associated. The same trend continued. Once or twice she lucked out when small films like JSML and JWM worked for her. I am sure she did JSML as Jeetendra must have been after her to work with his son and paid her well for it. I wonder if we should credit Shahid for getting Kareena to do JWM. Films like Chameli, Omkara, Dev and Heroine I am sure she did because of big arty names associated with them.
I am sure after this she will go after Anurag Kashyap especially if Aiyya works for Rani.

I don't think she has a lot of choice right now anyway. Her upcoming marriage is already affecting her. Look at her upcoming line-up. There is nothing exciting in it.

A romcom with Imran Khan? Whatever.

Satyagrah? Will be filled with 10 other actors and she will have a character role, not a bonafide leading lady part.

This is a terrible slate of movies compared to how other girls are doing right now.

I agree. She follows the herd...she dsnt have the courage to take up something new and be game with it...that is her biggest problem! She's afraid of failures...she always goes with the tried and tested formulas.
