Ranveer tried to hype up his pair with Kareena when he thought he was going to do the movie with her. He already knew people (within the industry) were making comments about her being too old for him so he counteracted that by saying how young she really looks.

Now he's saying nice things about Deepika to promote his pair with her. The same applies in both cases.

All actors are like this or should be to serve themselves best. Praise whoever you need to at the moment and say whatever that will benefit your career. Kareena herself does the same and her favorites change at the drop of a hat. Nothing wrong with it. It's just business.

what are you trying to prove exactly?

Ranveer waxed poetic about Kareena when he was about to be signed and now

she is out. he is saying good things about Deepika, she has the looks she will

look the RIGHT age opposite him, she will make a beautiful suitable Leela

doesnt this NEGATE what he said about

Kareena before, they will look wonderful, she looks not a day over 22?

so what? kareena turned all of 12 years older overnight? Hmmm?

NOW she looks older than him? not when he met her?

Has he opted out of Ram Leela because kareena is out? No. He is saying

good things about Deepi now. Like he will say good things about Sonakshi

if she stars opposite him and he is ASKED about her.

So what if Anoushka told Karan about his 'secret crush' on kareena. She

is a chatterbox so she said it. he didnt say it on his own? Everyone has

their likes. All the male stars have a crush on Madhuri. So WHAT!!??

LOL, I'm trying to negate your point that Kareena's PR is behind the perception that he's a huge Kareena fan, and that he likes her.

I KNOW that he's happy with Deepika, and yes, he's trying to now hype up his pair with her. Nowhere have I put Ranveer down, infact, I'm trying to DEFEND him by saying that his words have been modified in thsi article and that in the original he did NOT put Kareena down due to age, merely just an upside now is that they're the same age.

but where did i say he does not like her or he isnt her fan?

and he may hv given one interview or two but ever since its the print media who keep

talking as if he is stalking her literally and how heartbroken hemust be since

kareena left. doesnt sound in the least like it. hes been very matterof fact.

and print media also includes this IF forum where certain members keep

referring to his supposed 'undyng love' for kareena and how he devastatedr

he must feel now. By PR i dnt mean the set of people stars hire to write up

stuff, PR is also the reams written on a forum or website by fans. When

there are ten topics about one star in two days in one forum THAT

becomes PR!!! Simple. what is PR? Promoting a stars image. isnt that

what posting scans or posting topics does?

I don't think Ranveer himself was calling Kareena old. He would never do that. Let's give the guy some credit. Not because he love her or hates her or whatever but simply because it's in really bad taste to talk like that about anyone. It's also not a good idea to insult people who you might end up working with later on.

All he was saying is that *people* thought their pairing might look odd because of the age difference so now with Deepika on board, they won't have to deal with that issue. Ranveer himself is not saying she looks old.

Well i blame the indian movie goers as well who have the perception that once a women is a certain age or about to marry that her acting career is pushed back.shes lucky though she as a guy has his own production house. though the way he said it came out wrong but hes pointing out how the indian audience will think on their pairing and te age gap. Though, i dont see snything wrong in an actor being paired with an older actress. in this case it may be how they look than the age but who knows.
