Who? Yes...exactly.. I myself don't know who these actresses are. And am sure most of the voters were young hence they also don't know who Nargis and Nutan are. I don't see how that makes anyone stupid. Even if they voted for Katrina...I don't think they are stupid. Yes she's not an actress... but people enjoy watching her onscreen. When people think of an actress... I don't think they think about acting...they think about who they like... like for example one time I asked one of my friend who is her fav Bollywood actress. And she said she liked Katrina because she's pretty.
Exactly thats the thing which is why these polls are more popularity based than being based on real acting talent. It just proves at the end its all about being a star, reaching out to the maximum number of people out there. I have seen kids having katrina as their favorite actress as they loved watching partner, welcome etc. Same with bebo during her initial years where she was not much of an actress yet she was a favorite among the audiences generally because of her star status. Like i remember many friends of mine calling kareena their favorite actress in 2001 as they loved her dressing in K3G. Very rare have i heard her acting in omkara as the reason for her being a favorite in the masses, It just works this way i guess hence reflected in polls in a similar fashion.
