koiza - have you seen anjaam? that's a powerful performance from madhuri. I only seen few movies of mads and she had a strong role in the ones that I have seen. She last over 25 years as a leading actress even Sridevi lasted a long time as leading actress. They got paid more than their lead actors

Mads had a fantastic double role in a film called Sangeet opposite Jackie. The film came out round early 90's, she did a great job as the blind girl and old woman but sadly the film bombed, so it doesnt get remembered with her other films. Sigh ..if only SLB was around at the start of MD's career 😭. MD didnt do Khamoshi and buy the time SLB was popular her own career was fading. Sad one brilliant actress who didnt get her due as an actress, its upsets me that she's more famous for her dancing when she was a really good actor also.

Umm no terenaina. I would watch it now though, I never meant to say that mads was not a good actor, i have always said sri-devi and mads are probably the only ones who had it all but yes from my childhood i mostly remember mads in typical roles, not experimenting much. But ill watch the movie now. Sri-devi on the other hand has been phenomenal in sadma, that was a performance par excellence.

I haven't seen sadma but will watch it. I have seen few movies of sridevi as well and she's a brilliant actressthe siggy is from love aaj kal
